Cantico delle Creature B&B is a rustic eighteen-century farmhouse in the heart of Umbrian countryside. Situated next to the wall of the Sanctuary of San Damiano, the B&B is nestled in the green countryside of Assisi, rich in natural vegetation and cultivated fields. It is surrounded by olive trees, oaks, walnuts and all kind of fruit trees and a little vegetable garden entirely cultivated by us. The main building is a typical house of the Umbrian rural tradition and it was rebuilt in the 60s by our family basing on the ruins of the 18th century and keeping the style of that period.
From June until September, the B&B Cantico delle Creature offers its guests the opportunity to enjoy the exclusive swimming pool overlooking the valley and the renovated green areas.
In a quiet location and a few steps from the accommodation, the pool is equipped with salt water, hydromassage and counter-current swimming function.
In the surrounding area you can enjoy pleasant moments of relaxation and a total immersion in the calm of the countryside.
B&B Il Cantico delle Creature is situated in a prime location, in an area of outstanding natural and historical beauty, perfect for walking through the countryside, or visiting Assisi city centre, or for a quick trip to the Subasio’s Mount. Our Bed and Breakfast is perfectly located adjacent to the Sanctuary of San Damiano (it is only 50 meters to go through a staircase) and that is a wonderful chance to live a mystical and peaceful experience. For those who wish a unique insight into some of the breathtaking walks available, we could easy provide bicycles to reach the Mount Subasio Regional Park or the lovely medieval villages nearby. During the wine harvest and the olive oil’s gathering and pressing, we could also organize guided tours to a typical oil mill or winery and vineyards, getting in touch with the real taste of extra-virgin olive oil and the famous Umbrian wine. The B&B is located in a quiet but not isolated place. The junction of the E45 highway is just 5 minutes away and it allows to easily reach the train station (3 km) , the international airport (8 km), Spello (6 km), Foligno (15 km), Perugia (20 km).
